The IRS will deal with major issues in implementing the new tax law, according to the Taxpayer Advocate. In an annual report to Congress, National Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olson details the challenges the tax agency faces as it implements the many provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. They include drafting and publishing new forms and publications, revising regulations, training employees on the new law and developing its systems to verify compliance with new eligibility and documentation requirements.
